Concrete Pool Surround Cleaning and Sealing in Bloomington, Illinois

We recently completed a project restoring a pool surround in Bloomington, Illinois. Transforming a weathered concrete surface into a clean, refreshed outdoor living area. The homeowner's beautiful outdoor space had old sealer that left a hazy and uneven appearance to their pool surround and they wanted to remedy this problem before pool season was in full swing. Through our thorough concrete cleaning process, we were able to remove the old sealer as well as other accumulated dirt and debris and from there we were able to move on to the next phase of the restoration process.

Once the concrete had dried we applied an opaque cement-based concrete stain to help fill in some of the imperfections before sealing the concrete for the final layer of protection. We finished the job with a high-performance sealer designed to withstand foot traffic, pool chemicals, and the seasonal weather swings common in Bloomington. The sealer not only will protect the new color but also added a slight sheen that enhanced the overall look and made the surface easier to maintain. To make their space the best it can be, we cleaned the pool cover to remove residue left on the surface from previous seasons. Our clients were thrilled with the transformation— as it gave their backyard a fresh, updated feel just in time for pool season.
